Hazel Sainsbury joined the University in September 2020 as Director of Equity Compliance and Title IX Coordinator after eight years of working in the airline industry. She holds a NACUA Title IX Coordinator certification.
Her extensive background in employee relations, workforce management and leadership development had a significant impact in creating a productive work environment at her previous employer. She also has several years of experience as an airline spokesperson, and in media relations and classroom instruction. Her passion for student success kept her connected to DSU as a Communication Adjunct Instructor over the years.
Hazel’s drive for personal development and academic success translated to her graduate studies achievement of a master’s degree in Professional Communication from Southern Utah University, following her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Dixie State University.
